I'm a wife, boy mom, and fur mom in my mid-30s living in the Chicagoland suburbs.  I grew up as the oldest of 5 kids and have 4 younger brothers who all stood up in my wedding as my bride's bros.  Family is absolutely everything to me, and I'll never pass up a family get together or game night.  I met my husband in 2017, and while there were many things I fell in love with him for, his love for his family was something I valued and appreciated.

In 2019, my mom suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm which allowed me to reflect on how important family photos are to me.  By the grace of God, she made a full recovery, but at one point I remember thinking that our last family photo might really be the last one with everyone.  

Then, in 2025, my husband and I welcomed our first child 6 weeks early.  Our son spent 3 weeks in the NICU which took an incredible toll on us mentally and emotionally.  All I wanted (aside from him to come home) was our first family photo without any wires or feeding tubes.  

We all have a limited time here on earth, so my goal in creating Coming Home Photography Co.  has been to help as many families as possible preserve their own precious moments and memories.

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm typically working as a consultant for a public safety consulting firm, spending time with my family, out for a walk, or reading a book.

If you're looking for someone who will meet your family where you're at, provide soft direction, and empathize with you as you try to wrangle your seemingly crazy, chaotic, and unpredictable children... we'll get along just fine!
